About Saskatchewan Handball
Saskatchewan Team Handball Federation Inc. is the sport governing body for handball in the Province of Saskatchewan. Created nearly 40 years ago, the federation is a not-for-profit organization and was incorporated as such in 1973. The federation is responsible for the administration, promotion and development of the sport in Saskatchewan. Sask Handball's membership is made up of athletes, coaches, referees, leagues, clubs, and handball supporters. The federation organizes leagues, competitions, coaching clinics, and referee clinics.
Sask Handball has a sound governance model and is directed by a volunteer Board of Directors who are elected by the membership to represent, guide, govern and manage the affairs of the federation. The Executive & Technical Director manages the daily administrative operations of Sask Handball. Sask Handball receives funding through the Saskatchewan Lotteries Corporation and Sask Sport Incorporated. Other funding is generated through membership fees, program fees, fundraising and sponsorship.

Saskatchewan Team Handball acknowledges that we are on lands covered by Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10, the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota, and Salteaux peoples, and the homeland of the Métis.
Reconciliation is the process of healing relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians, including through Sport. We all have a role to play in the ongoing commitment to Truth and Reconciliation. Saskatchewan Team Handball encourages all athletes, coaches, volunteers and supporters in the community to work together on the path towards healing.
The Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) published 94 "Calls to Action" for all Canadians to come together in an active effort to help repair harm caused by residential schools, and move forward with reconciliation. Specifically, Calls 87-91 in the TRC document relate to sport and reconciliation.
